Rooted Reflections

When your life is packed in boxes, creativity finds another way. It’s as if having everything out of bounds, hidden away, has galvanised my creativity in other ways. It has felt refreshing.

I am on the brink of moving and my days have been practical. I find it satisfying to have a to-do list which, with some effort, can become a ‘ta-done’ list. Being an artist is fluid and although some tasks fit a tick list it’s a pursuit that is never ‘done’. In every piece there are imperfections that I want to do differently in the next iteration. In every piece there are inspirations I want to build upon. And so the flow of art is ever onwards.
