Hi All and welcome to December. It’s been a whirlwind year and a very creative one. I never think I have achieved much until I take time to reflect and I think December offers us the opportunity to do this.
In this month’s subscriber post I share a video on making your own drawing tools and how to use research and experimentation to keep you in creative flow. I talk about how to build your intuition ‘muscle’ so you can recognise your own creative desires and build your own creative voice.
I’ve realised that I cannot do it all and cannot be all things to all men! I have learned to set boundaries, especially around Christmas and holiday cards and gifting and rather than be met with disappointment, people have supported my need to pare back and in the space I have felt more like a younger self who gifted home made items and cards and I am looking forward to a less-is-more approach to the end of the year.
