I found this deeply healing and helpful as I'm navigating changes with more care for my elderly mom, while also finding balance to continue my art and writing too. Thank you for what you shared.
I am glad that it resonated Barb. I wrote a couple of versions, I wanted to express the challenges as well as the potential for hope and finding a way to move forwards.
It was such a joyful surprise to bump into you the other week - when all is a little more settled in our various worlds, it would be lovely to catch up properly 🌿
Thanks David. I think we have both fallen in love with the Derbyshire Dales. Let me know when you are back in the area and we can compare where to find the best cake!
Thank you again for sharing. There's so much here.. I recognise sensitivity and spinning. I've recently copied a piece out twice about release, surrendering the need to control, and going with the flow of heart vibrations. I'm not sure I know what it means, but I'm listening to my heart more, and more. And, I had an encounter with a moth, I think maybe a hummingbird hawk moth, that crawled on my arm for minutes. It augers well.
Thank you for your words. In replying, I find I express some things that are stirring. X
The 'flow of the heart' is worth holding onto. I have been living so much in my head, I forget what I love, and to centre on that. We had a hummingbird hawk moth in the garden! Amazing creatures. And that one chose you to rest upon - beautiful. Thank you for sharing your thought.
I love this post and am excited that you are entering the realms of assemblage I think in my humble opinion that I personally need to engage all my senses when looking within and can only express those thoughts and feelings by using all different materials. 😘

This is true! I have been sewing again because of the sensory comfort. Paint isn't supporting me holistically at the moment.
I love your work very much and love the new creation you shared here. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and work.
Thanks Mitzi, I am glad they resonated with you.
