Helen ~ Ever since I heard about this and tried it I have wanted to share and thought you might be interested. If you take a couple of iron supplement tablets and dissolve them in a bit of white vinegar it creates this wonderful βinkβ that goes on clear and then dries in shades of brown π
A lovely read Helen, thank you. There is a power in 3 isn't there? And in not thinking too much! When I'm stuck, I sometimes like to choose three colours - seemingly at random - and just start making simple marks, shapes etc. It's amazing the meaning that can ultimately unfold. Choosing three objects sounds fun... will give that a try :0)
It can all seem so complicated, especially with the back drop noise of the news and general day-to-day life. Getting started is the hardest part, so having some simple tools to kickstart a creative hour or two is a good plan. A lecturer I had at art college had a photo album with clear pouches and would add coloured swatches of paper, fabric or thread into the pouches and come up with accidental and incidental colour combos. Another simple tool to act as a stepping stone.

Thank you again Helen.
